ATS TrekMUSH Factions

The following factions are represented on ATS TrekMUSH. Most of them are player-character empires. A few are NPC (Non-Player-Character) empires that are run by admin, and are not open to the PCs (Player-Characters). They are noted below, and some of them even have sites at these links:

PC Empires

• The United Federation of Planets == federation(at)trekmush.org

• The Klingon Empire == klingon(at)trekmush.org

• The Romulan Star Empire == romulan(at)trekmush.org

• The Cardassian Union == cardassian(at)trekmush.org

• The Galactic Ferengal Alliance == ferengi(at)trekmush.org

• The Bajoran Free Nation == bajoran(at)trekmush.org

These are the primary empires on ATS. They are the largest, have the greatest numbers of players, positions, ships, bases, planets, and economic might. They also have the most developed player training facilities and online help facilities.

NPC Empires

• The Orion Alliance == orion(at)trekmush.org

• The Breen Confederacy == breen(at)trekmush.org

• The Independents == independent(at)trekmush.org

• The Unity == unity(at)trekmush.org

• The Aurellan Holy Assembly == aurellan(at)trekmush.org

Players for these empires are always hired by invitation only, and the characters are always temporary in nature. These empires require very expierienced and mature players.

All empires are subject to percentage-based quotas and are not open to new registration at all times. It is recommended that prospective recruits of the empires visit as a guest and see what is available using the @count command, before attempting to register a character. Purges of players that are idle for more than 30 days are carried out daily by the administration, so open slots come and go regularly in most empires.
